Professional artists are the very foundation of a living arts scene. Therefore, the Swedish Arts Grants Committee has been mandated by the government since 1976 to promote artists in their artistic practice and development. Our assignment covers to practising artists throughout Sweden in all artistic disciplines.
Our assignment
The Swedish Arts Grants Committee is the government agency responsible for implementing the national artist policies.

The organisational structure
