Lecture series with Nordberg Movement: Taking a leap – to work internationally in dance and circus

Welcome to a lecture series that guides you through various steps and opportunities to initiate, develop and strengthen your international artistic work. The series is presented in collaboration with Nordberg Movement, who will share their experiences and thoughts on international work within dance and circus.
Four Tuesday evenings take place on site at the Swedish Arts Grants Committee, Maria skolgata 83, and two Wednesday evenings take place online. The lectures are held in English and directed to Sweden-based professional artists in the field of dance and circus. The lectures are free, but registration in advance is required.

Programme

Part 1: First steps – philosophy and practice around building and strengthening an international network.

Tuesday, September 3rd (Konstnärsnämnden, Maria skolgata 83)

Lecturer: Magnus Nordberg with guest Marie Proffit

This evening, we will take a look at what network building can mean on a general level. How can an organization or I as an individual artist benefit from the international work I have already built and how do I move forward? What are the first steps I can take if my work is in the starting pits? Magnus Nordberg guides us through various steps and opportunities to initiate, develop and deepen an international perspective.
