Artist in Residence at Kunstlerhaus Bethanien in New York, January-15 June 2025

Erik Gustafsson (b. 1987) currently lives and works in Berlin. He has studied at HDK-Valand and in recent years Gustafsson has shown his work in exhibitions in Sweden and internationally, as well as published four artist’s books. Gustafsson works with photography and focuses on questions of materiality and meaning-making, representation, as well as the possibilities of experiencing time and space on a flat surface.
